Grants Department


Mission

The mission of the Grants office is to support school district personnel in their efforts to locate and obtain funds for projects that improve educational opportunities for all students and forward school site and district objectives and priorities as stated in the District Improvement Plan.

Objectives

In keeping with the Pasadena Independent School District's Improvement Plan, the goals of the Grants Office are to:

  • Research possible funding sources for the district.
  • Coordinate, facilitate or write and submit funding proposals for Pasadena ISD .
  • Disseminate information on funding opportunities to Pasadena ISD employees.
  • Create a grants office web page, which will contain listings of grants acquired by the district, funding sources, interactive questions and answers about grants and procedure, downloadable Grants Office Inquiry forms and monthly grants office newsletters.
  • Maintain a computerized listing of all active grants including amounts, active dates, etc.
  • Provide grantwriting training workshops for teachers, when requested.
