Many Pasadena ISD schools will host orientations, Meet The Teacher meetings and open houses for students and parents. This list will be updated on a regular basis as information comes in. Schools holding events in the coming weeks are as follows: 

Meador Elementary
Meador Elementary's Parent Orientation Night is at 6 p.m., Sept. 9.

South Houston Intermediate
South Houston Intermediate's Open House will be from 6-7:30 p.m., Sept. 15.

Miller Intermediate
Miller Intermediate will host its Parent Open House from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Sept. 16.

Shaw Middle School
Bobby Shaw Middle School will have its fifth grade open house 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 and its sixth grade open house at the same time on Sept. 25. For more information, call 713-740-5268.

Sam Rayburn High School
Sam Rayburn High School will hold an open house at 6 p.m., Sept. 18 and will also host a Ninth Grade Report Card Night at 6 p.m., Oct. 9.

Matthys Elementary
Matthys Elementary school will begin its "Parent Chat" meetings at 9 a.m., Sept. 30 where parents may voice their concerns with the principal. In addition, a parent CPR training will be held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the school library. The cost is $27. Those interested must register in the front office by Sept. 16.
