The Pasadena Memorial High School Maverick
Youth About Business championship team finished third in the
national competition in New York recently.
The organization formed at Memorial this
year and is designed to be an innovative leadership-training
program, where students learn skills to be successful in a
business environment. Our mission is to expose youth to business
theory and principles through our experiential learning model.
At the national competition, Memorial
competed against 130 teams from around the country, including
teams from Tennessee, New York and Illinois.
Team members include Blake Stiles, Alex
Segura, Hayden Edwards, Andy Ho, Clare Snelson, Helen Schorsch,
Brandon Zellers, Rayven Moore and Cam-Tu Nguyen.
