In the news:
Memorial students stuff stockings for those in need

Once again, the Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) organization at Pasadena Memorial High School has come through for the Salvation Army.

The students filled 1,206 stockings as part of the schoolwide “Stuff-A-Stocking” drive for the Salvation Army’s Share Your Holidays fundraiser. This year’s donation well surpassed 2007’s, when students stuffed 750 stockings.

The stockings will be presented to the Salvation Army soon and they will be presented to families in need in the Pasadena area.

“I am so proud of our students here at Memorial,” said Ele Manry, FCCLA teacher who coordinated the drive. “Because of their efforts, they will make the holidays bright for someone in need.”
