Dear Parent or Guardian:

Because the safety of our students is always our first concern, I wanted to let you know about an incident that occurred yesterday near Scarborough and Northwood around 7:30 p.m. A 9-year-old girl was approached by an older Hispanic male, possibly in his 50’s, driving a gray 80’s model single-cab pickup. The incident was reported to the Pasadena Police Department.

Our staff and police have been alerted and will be watching and doing all we can to protect your children. The message is not meant to alarm you, but to inform you so you can take any precautionary steps with your children. Please remind your students not to talk to strangers and to walk with others instead of by themselves.

Porque la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes es siempre nuestra primer prioridad, les quiero avisar  sobre un incidente que ocurrió ayer cerca de Scarborough y Northwood a last siete y media de la noche. Un hombre hispanico, manejando un pickup, de color gris, se acercó a una chica quiene tiene 9 años de edad. El incident fue reportado al departamento de la policia de Pasadena.  

El personaje y policia del distrito están de alerta y estarán vigilando y hacienda todo lo posible para proteger a sus hijos. Este mensaje no es para alarmarlos, solamente para informarles del incidente y tomar cualquieras precaciones con sus hijos.  Por favor de recorder a sus hijos que no hablen con gente desconocida, y que no caminen solos sino con otros. 

Si usted tiene información sobre este incidente, favor de comunicarse con la oficina de la policia de Pasadena.
