SALES CALLS

Solicitors shall not call at individual schools without approval from the office of the Superintendent or designee. A letter of approval for sales calls shall be presented to the principal if permission is granted.

COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS

The following procedures shall serve as guidelines for photographing students at school: 1. The principals at each level shall accept proposals from photographers to      photograph students at school. Proposals shall be judged on the highest      quality work for the most reasonable cost to the students. 2. The principals shall select one commercial photographer who shall have      the exclusive privilege of photographing students at the school. The      contract for such work shall be approved by the principal. All such      contracts shall be subject to the following provisions:     a. The school shall receive one photograph of each student for inclusion         in the student’s cumulative record.     b. Any photographs sent to the student’s home shall in no way obligate          the school or its personnel.     c. All funds collected from the sale of photographs shall be remitted to          the photographer. 3. No gratuities may be received by District personnel for the services of the      photographer.
