All pagers confiscated during the school year
become the property of the school district. The Board shall give
authority to the superintendent to provide for the proper disposal
of the paging devices. The superintendent may:
a. destroy confiscated pagers.
b. Return pagers owned by private or public companies or
organizations and l loaned to a student as a result of
their employment with that company or
organization. The company or organization must
request the return of the
paging device in writing. The pager may be
returned at the discretion of
the superintendent. If the company’s paging
device is confiscated again,
the pager becomes the property of the school
district and will be
destroyed. A $15 fee shall be assessed for the
return of any paging
device or other telecommunications device.
