Dobie senior DaMarcus Hodges earns Bayou Bowl MVP honors

PASADENA, Texas — Dobie High School senior DaMarcus Hodges was named the Most Valuable Player of the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association Bayou Bowl following the annual all-star game played Jan. 3, 2026, at Barbers Hill Stadium.
Hodges helped lead the GHFCA All-Stars to a 28–27 victory over the East Texas All-Stars, standing out among a roster of the region’s top graduating seniors.
The Bayou Bowl gives Houston-area football players preparing for college one final chance to represent their high schools in a postseason showcase of the region’s best seniors.
