Pasadena ISD Honors 2026 Vanguard Community Service Award Recipients

Pasadena, TX — Pasadena ISD recognized its 2026 Vanguard Community Service Award recipients during the district’s April board meeting, honoring high school seniors who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to serving the Pasadena community through volunteerism.
The Vanguard Awards celebrate students whose service reflects leadership, character and a dedication to giving back. Selected by campus administrators and counselors, 30 seniors from all six Pasadena ISD high schools were recognized for their civic involvement and community contributions.
The students supported a wide range of initiatives, including work with senior citizens, animal care programs, school organizations and community events. Their efforts highlight Pasadena ISD’s focus on developing well‑rounded students through opportunities for excellence and experience both inside and outside the classroom.
This year’s Vanguard Community Service Awards were made possible through the continued support of Chevron Pasadena Refinery, the program’s sponsor. In partnership with Chevron, the Pasadena ISD Education Foundation helped connect donors and resources to highlight the students for their leadership and service. Each honoree received a certificate and gift in recognition of their commitment to making a difference.
