Brandi Johnson is the Reading Academies and PK Compliance Coordinator. In her role, she collaborates with administrators, instructional coaches, and teachers to enhance school improvement plans focused on instructional planning, assessment, analysis, and intervention. Brandi has extensive experience in PISD schools across all levels, serving as a teacher, instructional coach, intervention specialist, and school improvement coordinator.

She works closely with campuses to successfully transform their planning and implementation of the Effective Schools Framework and PLC at Work® process. In her previous position, she played a key role in establishing intervention structures and supports for all students across 68 campuses in Pasadena ISD.

Brandi holds a bachelor's degree in management from Park University and a master's degree in educational administration from Lamar University. Additionally, she has specialized certifications in English as a second language, special education, and the science of teaching reading.
