Bernadette Booker is a proud Houstonian and self-professed life-long learner. Bernadette graduated from North Shore Senior High School. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Huston Tillotson University and a Master of Educational Administration from Lamar University.

Bernadette began her career in Austin ISD as a Kindergarten and 2nd Grade Teacher. Her passion eventually led her to secure a position abroad as a teacher of English Language in Abu Dhabi UAE; where her love for the education and English language merged. Having since returned to the United States, Bernadette has held positions such as a middle school teacher, District-Wide Specialist, and Literacy Specialist before joining the Pasadena ISD family as the K-2 Instructional Specialist.

Throughout her career, Bernadette has excelled in curriculum development, instructional responsibilities, campus support, and leadership roles. Her commitment is first and foremost to all student's and ensuring that her supports help foster student achievement.
