American Rescue Plan Act - Emergency Relief Fund

Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan

The American Rescue Plan Act requires that school districts make their Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan available to the public online. The plans must be in an understandable and uniform format; to the extent practicable, and written in a language that parents can understand. Alternatively, the plan may be orally translated or provided in an alternative accessible format upon request.

Pasadena ISD teams will continue to work collaboratively with stakeholders, principals, staff, parents, students and community members to review and refine our plans throughout the year.

Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund

Pasadena ISD has submitted an application for $147 million in one-time federal funding to address needs caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to receive the funds, the district has submitted an application to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) expressing its intentions for the funds should the application be approved.

Funds can be used to cover expenses that were incurred starting March 13, 2020 and that may continue to arise through September 30, 2024.
