Rebekka Allen

District Specialist, Innovation & Development

Rebekka Allen is an Innovation and Development Specialist in PISD. She has worked for 25 years as an educator, with 19 years in Pasadena ISD. She started her career as a 9th-grade World Geography teacher, igniting curiosity about the world in her students.

Rebekka holds a undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Old Dominion University and a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from Texas Tech University. Her commitment extended beyond the classroom; for 14 years, she taught various social studies courses online, adapting to the digital age. As a Technology Facilitator and Technology CCS, Rebekka championed innovative teaching methods, integrating technology seamlessly into education.

With two children, one of whom graduated from a Pasadena ISD high school, Rebekka understands the district's impact firsthand. Outside of teaching, she enjoys quality time with her children, exploring new hobbies, and traveling.
