Hi! I am Mrs. Russell.

After earning my BA in History from UHCL, I spent my first year teaching in Pearland. Then, in August 2002, I moved to Sam Rayburn High School, where I still am today (Go Texans). I taught social studies for the next 10 years and also earned 2 Masters Degrees (Educational Mgt. & School Library) from UHCL. I spent the 2012-2013 school year as one of Rayburn's Testing Coordinator.

I started my Dream Job as a Librarian in August 2013. I love being able to connect the right book with the student that needs it. I spend my spare time reading and reviewing books.

My family includes my husband, daughter & her spousal equivalent, and our bird, a cuddly Green Cheek Conure.
