Victoria Salinas is our librarian at Garfield Elementary. With four years of library experience from HISD, Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for literacy to our school community.

Victoria earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2017 and completed her Master's degree in School Librarianship from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in May 2024.

In addition to her role as librarian, she will also serve as the G/T pull-out teacher and oversee the school Spelling Bee.

Outside of her professional life, Victoria enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She loves reading and watching movies, and she is thrilled to be part of our team.
