Curriculum

Pasadena ISD offers a high-quality science curriculum designed to connect scientific concepts to everyday life. Our program supports and encourages hands-on scientific experiences in natural environments, catering to the individual needs of each student. We strive to balance laboratory work, data analysis, communication of findings, and the development of scientific vocabulary. Our curriculum is fully aligned with the Texas Education Agency state-mandated Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards.

Assessment

Students undergo formal science assessments through locally developed benchmark tests and the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) at grade 5, grade 8, and in High School Biology.
