Kyla Hall Holas is a former All-American softball pitcher and collegiate coach with roots in Pasadena. A three-time All-American at Southwestern Louisiana, she led the team to the Women's College World Series and holds several school records, including an impressive .839 winning percentage.
Holas was the inaugural head coach for the University of Houston softball program, which she led for 16 seasons, accumulating 563 wins and guiding the team to seven NCAA regional appearances. Her success earned her two Conference USA Coach of the Year awards and induction into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. She was also inducted into the Pasadena ISD Hall of Fame in 2015.
After her coaching tenure at Houston, Holas served as an assistant for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch league and has been involved with USA Softball. She has since focused on coaching at the youth level through her "More Than a Game" training program.
