Talton, Scott

HOF Class of 2015

Scott Talton was an extraordinarily successful coach at Dobie High School, where he led the boys' basketball team for 27 years. His teams made 15 playoff appearances, won four district championships, and twice reached the regional tournament. His 500 career wins mark the most by any coach in Pasadena ISD history.

Talton, an alumnus of Pasadena High, was also instrumental in creating the McDonald's Texas Invitational Basketball Tournament. The tournament's MVP award and the basketball court at Dobie High are named in his honor. Talton retired in 2008 and passed away suddenly the following year.
