Pasadena ISD Decathlon Teams Recognized at State Level
We are thrilled to announce that J. Frank Dobie High School and Pasadena Memorial High School’s Academic Decathlon teams have been recognized for their achievements at the state level.
J. Frank Dobie High School qualified for the Thomas E. Moseley Championship Finals at the University of Texas – San Antonio, placing within the top 30 large/medium schools. The team placed fourth among large schools in Region V, earning 16 individual medals.
The USAD National Finals will be held in Des Moines, Iowa, from May 1-3.
Pasadena Memorial High School earned a spot in the Frisco Invitational State Finals at Collin College Preston Ridge Campus. The team’s performance at the regional level secured their place among the next 40 large/medium schools invited to compete at the state level. Although winners from this event will not advance to Nationals, the team’s accomplishments are notable.
Pasadena ISD is proud of the achievements of all our Academic Decathlon students across the district. Their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence are truly inspiring. We look forward to their continued success at the state competitions and beyond.
