On March 6, 2025, Pasadena ISD and HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast collaborated to host an education fair at the Dr. Kirk Lewis Career & Technical High School. The event aimed to introduce students to the diverse range of career opportunities available within the organization.

"HCA Southeast is proud to partner with Dr. Kirk Lewis Career & Technical High School for today’s education fair. The purpose of the fair is to introduce students to the many clinical and non-clinical career opportunities that exist in our hospital. By having those conversations early, students are able to consider their options before graduation; thus, improving their future career success," said Yasmene McDaniel, CEO of HCA Houston Healthcare.

The education fair featured a variety of presentations and interactive sessions, designed to give students a comprehensive look at different career paths such as marketing and communication, HVAC services, technology, and culinary careers.

Additionally, the event featured an area where students could visit various tables to gather more information and engage in one-on-one conversations about specific trade skills and career options.

Pasadena ISD is proud to partner with organizations like HCA Houston Healthcare, which are right in our own backyard, to showcase the many career possibilities available to our students. By working together, we can ensure that our students are well-prepared to enter the workforce and make meaningful contributions to our community.
