Gary Chattman was born and raised in Pasadena and attended Jensen Elementary and Bondy Intermediate. In 2003 when Pasadena Memorial High School opened its doors, Gary attended as part of the first Freshmen class, graduating from there four years later. Gary earned his Bachelor's Degree in History from Sam Houston State University and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from The University of St. Thomas in Houston.

After graduating from college, Gary began his career in education at the brand new Dr. Kirk Lewis Career and Technical High School in PISD. Here he taught, U.S. History, Advanced Placement U.S. History and Personalized Learning U.S. History. Gary is now the Social Studies Campus Content Specialist at CTHS. He enjoys being able to help coach teachers and support students across the campus.
