Tanya Hagar is in her 8th year serving as the Executive Director of Career and Technical Education for Pasadena ISD. She pursued her educational journey with a Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and later earned a Master’s degree from Lamar University. She is in her 33rd year as an educator, all in the field she is extremely passionate about, career and technical education.

Tanya and her husband Doug, also a lifelong educator, have been married for 28 years. They have one daughter, Hanna, who graduated from Pasadena Memorial High School in 2024 and will be following in their footsteps as she pursues a degree in education from SFA.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
