Amanda Noyes is an educator that hails from the Midwest, where she pursued her undergraduate studies at Winona State University, earning degrees in Spanish and Biology. Her love for language and culture took her to Buenos Aires for a time before planting roots in Houston. She began teaching in PISD with newcomer ESL classes at Dobie and Dobie9 before transitioning to Dr. Kirk Lewis Career and Technical High School as the Multilingual Coach.

Her commitment to literacy and educational leadership led her to the University of St. Thomas, where she completed a Master’s in Literacy Education followed by a Doctorate from University of Houston in Educational Leadership K-12. Amanda’s experience and academic background reflect her dedication to empowering students and teachers to learn and grow.
