PASADENA, Texas – The San Antonio Brennan Bears, Allen Eagles, Denton Guyer Wildcats, and Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos have all advanced to the UIL semi-finals, just one game away from the Texas high school state championship. This milestone follows their impressive performances at the Pasadena ISD McDonald's Texas Invitational Tournament in November, where San Antonio Brennan clinched the championship on Nov. 23.

The McDonald's Texas Invitational, held annually in Pasadena, is the largest high school basketball tournament in the nation. It emphasizes that "the road to state starts here" for Texas high school athletes. 

On Tuesday, March 4, the Brennan Bears, with a record of 33-2, will take on Bellaire High School, while the Allen Eagles, with a record of 30-1, will face Duncanville. Denton Guyer, with a record of 28-3, will battle College Park, and Fort Bend Marshall, the runner-up of the McDonald's Texas Invitational, with a record of 29-4, will play Alamo Heights. All four teams are playing for the chance to be state champions.
