Stephanie Spitzer is an experienced educator with 20 years of expertise in high school English instruction and has served as the District Instructional Specialist for High School English since 2018. In this role, she develops and monitors curriculum that aligns with state standards and college readiness, provides professional development for teachers, and facilitates collaboration among educators to improve educational outcomes across the district. Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas in 2004 and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in 2017.

Previously, Stephanie served as the ELAR Campus Content Specialist and Instructional Coach at South Houston High School from 2015 to 2018, where she collaborated with teacher teams to plan instruction, created district-level curriculum documents, facilitated professional development, and developed blended learning resources to support diverse learners. Her teaching career also includes positions at Clear Lake High School and James Madison High School. Stephanie is committed to fostering an inclusive educational environment and enhancing student success through collaboration and data-driven practices.
