Allison Zamarripa

District Specialist, MS Reading Language Arts

Allison Zamarripa is an accomplished Reading and Language Arts Specialist based in Houston, TX, with a strong educational background, holding a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She possesses certifications as a Principal EC-12 and in ELA/SS for grades 4-8. Since 2014, Allison has worked in the district offices of Pasadena ISD, where she leads curriculum development for diverse learning environments, coordinates professional development, and supports instructional coaches to enhance teaching practices. Her role involves conducting needs assessments to provide timely support, facilitating professional learning communities, and providing timely support both inside and outside of the classroom. Prior to this, she served as a Literacy Instructional Coach and a 5th/6th Grade Teacher at Pasadena ISD, where she focused on data-driven instruction, lesson planning, and developing extended learning opportunities for students. Allison's commitment to educational excellence is evident through her innovative approaches and dedication to improving literacy instruction across multiple campuses.
