Sarah Smith

District Specialist, GR 3-4 Reading Language Arts

Sarah Smith is proud to call herself a product of Pasadena ISD. Before attending college, Sarah was a student at Genoa Elementary, Beverly Hills Intermediate, and finally graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School in 2000. She is currently a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in the field of education, holding a Master's degree in Education Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Education.


Currently serving as an Instructional Specialist at Pasadena ISD, Sarah excels in developing and implementing language arts curricula, leading professional development programs, and providing support to teachers and staff. Her previous roles in Pasadena ISD as a Campus Content Specialist, Literacy Coach, and Classroom Teacher have equipped her with a diverse skill set, including facilitating data-driven planning meetings, monitoring student progress, and conducting small group instruction.

Known for her passion for student and teacher growth, Sarah is an exceptional instructional leader who offers direct support in reading and writing to teachers and campus leadership. Her excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and coordinate with educators demonstrate her commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
